From a 635 to a 715 GMAT score in 7 weeks GMAT 715 (roughly a 760 on the old GMAT) is the 99th percentile. It’s actually the lowest you can score to achieve the hallowed 99th. So it’s a bit of a magic number in the GMAT universe. Of course, a 705 is also amazing.
