This Privacy Policy describes how Atlantic GMAT Tutoring (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit atlanticgmat.com (the “Site”) or use our tutoring services.

Who We Are

Atlantic GMAT Tutoring provides GMAT test preparation and tutoring services, delivered online and in person. If you have questions about this policy or about how we handle your information, contact us at registration@atlanticgmat.com.

Information We Collect

Information you give us directly. When you contact us, request a consultation, register for tutoring, or subscribe to updates, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, information about your test preparation goals and timeline, prior test scores, and any other information you choose to share with us.

Payment information. If you purchase tutoring services, payment is processed by Zoho a third-party payment provider. We do not collect or store your full payment card details on our systems. Payment processing is subject to that provider’s own privacy policy.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring website, pages viewed, links clicked, and the dates and times of your visits. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described below.

Information from tutoring sessions. If you receive tutoring from us, we keep records related to your instruction, which may include scheduling information, session notes, practice results, and progress records.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device that allow a site to recognize your browser and remember certain information.

We use the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Site to function, including security and basic navigation. These cannot be switched off.

  • Maintain the security of the Site and prevent fraud or misuse
  • Comply with our legal obligations

Legal Bases for Processing (Visitors in the EEA and UK)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract — to provide tutoring services you have requested or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information with service providers who perform functions on our behalf, which may include website hosting, email delivery, scheduling, video conferencing, payment processing, and analytics and advertising services. These providers are permitted to use your information only to provide services to us.

We may also disclose information where required by law, in response to valid legal process, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a sale or transfer of our business.

How Long We Keep Information

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, maintain records of our business relationship, and comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Inquiry records from people who do not become students are kept for a limited period and then deleted.

  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Object to or request restriction of certain processing
  • Request a copy of your information in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

Residents of California and certain other US states have rights under state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.

If you are in the EEA or UK and believe we have not handled your personal data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended for adults preparing for graduate business school admission. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Links

The Site may link to other websites that we do not operate. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be brought to your attention where required by law.
