This question of the day presents an exponents work-out. First rule of GMAT: Know your fundamentals! Do you really know your exponent rules? The GMAT will push you to the limits.

Here’s a little trick: If you get confused on a question with gigantic numbers, use smaller numbers to figure out the rules.

In this case notice that we are raising to a power. That means that all of the exponents need to be multiplied. So \( 3 \times 1000 \times 1000 \times 2 = 6{,}000{,}000 \).

The answer is \( 10^{6{,}000{,}000} \).
